Realistic Botanicals: Autumn Leaf

Class Description:

Students will learn how to paint a realistic autumn leaf. This class will show you how to use multiple layers of watercolor to simulate depth and dimension, creating a realistic effect.

What You Will Learn:

How to use a reference to paint an object
Use multiple mediums to create a dynamic piece of art
Work with multiple layers of watercolor to create a realistic painting

Supplies You'll Need:

Round brush
Thin round brush
Watercolor paints
100% cotton watercolor paper
2 jars of water
Cotton rag (or paper towels)

Megha Cassandra is a Bangalore-based Watercolor Artist originally from the small town of Rajasthan. She is the founder and Educator at TheArtBug. She is following her dream, and she helps artists explore the talent within through her courses, classes, and creative community.
